The Assisi Foundation of Memphis, Inc. extends its philanthropic presence at a variety of points along healthcare continuum.

The Foundation supports Biomedical Research projects in the hope of finding breakthroughs in disease processes. Grants to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for gene therapy research, and to the University of Tennessee-Memphis for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Islet Cell Transplantation, and Prostate Cancer research are significant examples.

We help provide for direct healthcare services administered for unique patient groups. In so doing, we give demonstrable signs of hope to those who live with AIDS, congenital heart disease, Alzheimer's, cerebral palsy, head injuries, low vision, and other chronic conditions.

We award grants that promote community health. The Hope and Healing Center of the Church Health Center and Christ Community Health Service are examples of our investment.
